Collection: LRB Ceramics

Beth Holgate is a painter and potter who lives and works in south-west France. She has been reading the LRB since 1990 and started to submit cover art in 2012.

The LRB ceramics originated in a single jug-a birthday gift for an editor at the paper. The pots are glazed earthenware, fired to 1060 degrees. They are thrown on the wheel and then decorated by hand. Each piece is unique.
